There is a big difference between self and Satan. The self can be purified but Satan cannot. To get rid of Satan just recite hawqala, لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّۃَ اِلَّا بِاللّٰهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيمِ meaning "There is no power nor strength except by Allah the Lofty, the Great" and أَعُوْذُ بِاللّٰهِ مِنَ الشَّيْـطٰنِ الرَّجِيْـم meaning "I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan."

When a person refrains from invocation and contemplation of Ism-e-Allah Zaat, Satan and 'self' take control of his mind and soul, dominating him completely just like ivy overtaking an entire tree. Satan infiltrates every inch of his being, rendering him blind to the truth.

Satan has sworn to lead people astray from the straight path which is the path of invocation and contemplation of Ism-e-Allah Zaat. He will use any ruse to stop a person from it.

Satan is afraid of Ism-e-Azam and Ism-e-Mohammad just as an infidel is of shahada.

The contemplation of Ism-e-Allah Zaat and Ism-e-Mohammad saves the seeker from the tricks of Satan and self as well as from ignorance, infidelity and misbelief.

Satan dominates the inwards which are filthy with worldly and lustful desires like a fly hovering over waste, after which he distracts man away from the invocation and contemplation of Ism-e-Allah Zaat.

Satan creates doubts and whispers in a person against the perfect spiritual guide just to divert him from the righteous path and disconnect him from the spiritual guide who is the medium between him and Allah.

Satan entices towards evil using the self.

When a person achieves the self at peace, Satan cannot mislead him from the righteous path. Satan does not even come close to him.

شیطان اور نفس میں بہت فرق ہے، نفس کا تزکیہ ہو سکتا ہے شیطان کا نہیں۔ شیطان کو بھگانے کے لیے بس لاحول پڑھیں۔

جب انسان ذکر و تصور اسم ِ اللہ ذات سے اعراض کرتا ہے تو اس کے وجود پر نفس اور شیطان قبضہ جمالیتے ہیں اور دل و دماغ کو اپنے قبضے اور تصرف میں لے لیتے ہیں اور سارے وجود پر اس طرح چھا جاتے ہیں جس طرح آکاس بیل پورے درخت کو گھیر لیتی ہے۔ انسان کے رگ و ریشے اور نس نس میں شیطان دھنس جاتا ہے اور اسے حق نظر نہیں آتا۔

ذکر اور تصور اسم ِاللہ ذات ہی وہ صراطِ مستقیم ہے جس سے ہٹانے کے لےے شیطان نے قسم کھا رکھی ہے اور ذکر و تصور اسم ِاللہ ذات سے روکنے کے لےے وہ ہر حربہ استعمال کرتا ہے۔

شیطان اسم ِاعظم اور اسم ِاللہ سے اس طرح ڈرتا ہے جس طرح کافر کلمہ سے۔

شیطان کی چالوں،نفس کے حیلوں، ہر طرح کے جہل، کفروشرک سے بچاﺅاسم ِ اللہ ذات اور اسم ِاللہ کے تصور میں محو ہو جانے سے ہی ممکن ہے۔

شیطان ہوا و ہوس سے معمور دل پر ایسے غالب آ جاتا ہے جیسے مکھی گندگی پر بھنبھناتی ہے۔ پھر وہ انسان کو ذکر و تصور اسم ِاللہ ذات سے غافل کر دیتا ہے۔

شیطان انسان کے دل میں مرشد کامل کے خلاف شکوک و شبہات اور وسوسے پیدا کرتا ہے تاکہ اسے مرشد سے دورکر سکے جو اللہ اور بندے کے درمیان وسیلہ ہے۔

شیطان انسان کو برائی کی طرف راغب کرنے کے لیے اس کے نفس کو استعمال کرتا ہے۔
شیطان
جب طالب نفس ِمطمئنہ کے مقام پر پہنچ جاتا ہے تو شیطان اسے سیدھے راستے سے گمراہ نہیں کر سکتا بلکہ شیطان اس کے قریب بھی نہیں پھٹک سکتا۔
