Gluttony

Gluttony is the most hazardous weakness of mankind. Adam was exiled from paradise because of it. This syndrome is the foundation of all sensual desires.

شہوتِ معدہ

شہوتِ معدہ یعنی کھانے پینے کی شہوت اولادِ آدم کا سب سے مہلک مرض ہے۔یہی مرض ہے جو آدم کو جنت سے نکلواتا ہے اور یہی مرض تمام شہوات و خواہشات کا منبع ہے۔

اعتدال

انسان زندہ رہنے کے لیے کھائے نہ کہ کھانے کے لیے زندہ رہے۔ بھوک رکھ کر کھانا کھائے اور صرف اتنا کھائے کہ ضعف نہ آئے اور زندگی کے کام خوش اسلوبی سے انجام دے سکے۔

ضبط نفس

اگر شہوتِ معدہ پر قابو پا لیا جائے تو دیگر شہوات سے بھی جلد نجات حاصل ہو جائے گی اور تزکیہ نفس کی منزل آسان ہو جائے گی۔

خواہش

جب انسان کا پیٹ بھر جاتا ہے توشہوتِ جماع پیدا ہوتی ہے۔
