Sufi Concepts: ProphetHood (Risalat)

Prophet Mohammad in reality is Divine light, while his physical being graced this world dressed as 'the Universal Divine Man'. Although outwardly he was a human being, his true essence is light. The exquisite attribute of his sacred being is that he was flawless and pure. His physical being was unparalleled and so subtle that it did not even cast a shadow.

Prophet Mohammad is the epitome of perfection and excellence among all humanity. He represents the complete and finest manifestation of Allah, serving as the Universal Divine Man and the rightful representative of Allah.

The mere mention and admiration of Prophet Mohammad is counted as a worship, while offering salutations to him is another way of praising him.

The Quranic word, قُل (meaning 'say it' used many times in the Quran addressing the Holy Prophet), signifies the physical being of the Holy Prophet andھُو (Hoo) denotes his Transcendent Unity.

The righteous path is the sacred existence of the Holy Prophet.

Love for Prophet Mohammad is fundamental to loving Allah. One cannot truly love Allah without loving the Prophet. The Companions attained Divine love only because of their love for the Holy Prophet.

Prophet Mohammad gave a complete code of life through the Quran and Sunna.

Prophet Mohammad with his pure physical being went on Miraj and beheld Allah.

Ignorant is the one who fails to recognize Prophet Mohammad.

As time progresses, the exalted status of the Holy Prophet continues to ascend.
