Divine teachings about the sacred name of Prophet Mohammad
Sacred Essence
The personal name of Allah (اَللّٰہُ) and the sacred name of Prophet Mohammad (محمد) are not just names, rather they are their sacred Essence. Their secret is revealed when during contemplation the seeker keeps in mind that he is beholding the sacred Essence not just the names.
Personal Names
There are infinite attributive names of Allah but 'Allah' is His personal name. Likewise, among the numerous attributive names of the Holy Prophet, 'Mohammad' holds the essence of his personal name. Just as Allah is the most powerful name of Allah, Mohammad is the most powerful name of the Holy Prophet.
Divine Manifestation
The name 'Mohammad' manifested when there was nothing except the light of Allah and the light of Mohammad. Therefore, Ism-e-Mohammad embodies the entirety of Divine light and possesses miraculous powers.
Greatness and Path
Ism-e-Allah Zaat (اَللّٰہُ) is the greatest name of Allah and Ism-e-Mohammad (محمد) is the straight path.
Spiritual Goal
Allah blesses the person with the spiritual goal during the contemplation of Ism-e-Mohammad or Ism-e-Allah Zaat.
Sacred Countenance
The sacred countenance of the Prophet Mohammad is Ism-e-Allah Zaat.
Vision of the Prophet
In the path of Faqr, whoever contemplates Ism-e-Mohammad, in fact sees the sacred entity of Prophet Mohammad (pbuh).
Spiritual Elevation
In Sarwari Qadri order, the contemplation of Ism-e-Mohammad is given for the spiritual elevation of seekers. The timing of this bestowal is entirely at the discretion of the spiritual guide.
Power and Effects
Ism-e-Mohammad has the same powers and effects as that of Ism-e-Allah Zaat. However, Ism-e-Allah Zaat has the Divine majesty as well as the beauty. It has both wrath and kindness. While Ism-e-Mohammad is the absolute Divine beauty therefore it has more compassionate effects on the esoteric self of a seeker.
Obedience and Compliance
Through the contemplation of Ism-e-Mohammad, the seeker becomes completely obedient to the laws of sharia and fully compliant with Allah. Gradually, he starts acquiring the morals and attributes of the Holy Prophet, thus becoming beloved to Allah.
Divine Unity
Ism-e-Mohammad is not separate or distinct from Ism-e-Allah Zaat. Rather Ism-e-Mohammad is concealed in Ism-e-Allah Zaat and Ism-e-Allah Zaat is veiled in Ism-e-Mohammad. That is why, in the Holy Quran Allah has declared the hands[1] and words[2] of His beloved Mohammad as His own.
"To obtain all the blessings of contemplation of Ism-e-Mohammad and to reach the Mohammadan Assembly through it, the disciple must be sincere and steadfast and should have complete belief in this path of Divine presence."

ذاتِ مقدسہ
اسم ِ j اور اسم ِj صرف اسم نہیں بلکہ ذات ہیں۔ اسم ِj اور اسم ِj تب کھلتے ہیں جب تصور کرتے ہوئے یہ نیت کی جائے کہ میں اسم کو نہیں بلکہ ذات کو دیکھ رہا ہوں۔
ذاتی نام
اللہ کے بیشمار صفاتی نام ہیں لیکن اسم ِ j اس کا ذاتی نام ہے۔ حضور علیہ الصلوٰۃ والسلام کے بھی بیشمار صفاتی نام ہیں لیکن اسم ِj آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہٖ وسلم کا ذاتی نام ہے۔ جس طرح اسم ِ j اللہ کے تمام ناموں میں سب سے زیادہ قوت والا اسم ہے اسی طرح اسم j حضور علیہ الصلوٰۃ والسلام کے تمام ناموں میں سب سے زیادہ قوت رکھنے والا اسم ہے۔
ظہورِ اسم
اسم ِ j کا ظہور اس وقت ہوا جس وقت انوارِ الٰہیہ اور تجلیاتِ نورِ محمدی کے سوا کسی شے کا ظہور نہ ہوا تھا اس لیے اسم ِj خود بھی منبع ٔانوار و تجلیات ہے اور معجزانہ شان کا حامل ہے۔
اسمِ اعظم
اسم ِ j میں اسم ِاعظم ہے اور اسم ِj میں صراطِ مستقیم ہے۔
روحانی دلیل
اسم ِj یااسم ِj ذات کا تصور کرتے ہوئے اللہ پاک دل میں دلیل ڈال دیتا ہے۔
مبارک چہرہ
حضور علیہ الصلوٰۃ والسلام کا مبارک چہرہ ہی اسم ِ j ذات ہے۔
رویتِ مصطفیٰ
راہِ فقر میں جو ِاسم j کا تصور کرے گا وہ درحقیقت آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہٖ وسلم کو دیکھے گا۔
ترقی روحانی
سلسلہ سروری قادری میں طالب کی روحانی ترقی کے لیے اسے اسم ِj کا تصور کرنے کے لیے کہا جاتا ہے۔ اب یہ مرشد کامل اکمل جامع نور الہدیٰ کی صوابدید پر ہے کہ وہ طالب کو ابتدا میں اسم ِ j ذات عطا کرتا ہے اور کچھ عرصے بعد اسم ِ j عطا کرتا ہے یا دونوں بیک وقت عطا کرتا ہے۔
قوت و اثرات
اسم ِ j درحقیقت اسی قوت اور اثر کا حامل ہے جواسم ِj ذات کو حاصل ہے۔ لیکن اسم ِ j میں جلال بھی ہے جمال بھی، قہر بھی ہے لطف بھی جبکہ اسم ِj میں جمال ہی جمال اور رحمت ہی رحمت ہے لہٰذا انسانی باطن پر اس کے اثرات زیادہ خوش کن ہیں۔
تابعداری
اسم ِj کے تصور سے انسانی روح شریعت ِمحمدیؐ کے تابع ہو کر اللہ کی زیادہ تابعدار ہو جاتی ہے۔ آہستہ آہستہ طالب خلق ِمحمدیؐ سے آراستہ ہو تا جاتا ہے حتیٰ کہ وہ اللہ کا محبوب بن جاتا ہے۔
وحدت الہی
اسم ِj اسم ِ j ذات سے جدا یا علیحدہ نہیں بلکہ اسم ِ j ذات اسم ِj میں اور اسم ِj اسم ِj ذات میں گم ہے۔ اسی لیے قرآن میں اللہ تعالیٰ نے حضرت محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہٖ وسلم کے ہاتھ کو اپنا ہاتھ۱؎ اور ان کے کلام کو اپنا کلام۲؎ فرمایا۔
"تصور اسم ِj کے فیوض و برکات حاصل کرنے اور مجلس ِمحمدی صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہٖ وسلم تک رسائی حاصل کرنے کے لیے طالب کو صادق دل، صبر و استقامت اختیار کرنے والا اور اس راہِ حضوری پر اعتبار کرنے والا ہونا چاہیے۔"
