Heaven and Hell

Inner tranquillity is synonymous with heaven while unrest is synonymous with hell.

In reward of your devotions if you neither seek paradise or worldly blessings nor are you performing them out of the fear of hell, instead you only and genuinely seek Allah and His love, and plea that you wish to be in the era of Prophet Mohammad, then believe me you surely will attain Divine closeness even if you are unaware that closeness of Allah can be attained like this.

The entire universe including the world and the hereafter, heaven and the hell, belongs to Allah Almighty. He is their Creator and Master. Therefore, why not forsake the allure of worldly life and the hereafter which are just creations of Allah, and instead worship the Owner of both realms solely out of His love and to recognize and behold Him? When the recognition and gnosis of the Master of all will be attained and He is pleased, then the acquisition of worldly riches and the reward of the hereafter becomes a trivial matter.

In the path of Faqr, heaven or hell hold no significance. The sole objective in this path is to please Allah and attain His consent. If Allah's will is to subject the seeker to the fire of hell, then be it, as long as He is pleased.

People seek paradise, however they don't realize that in the paradise the 'self' will be removed and only the soul will enter. Because, it is the self that has desires and Allah does not want His men to create trouble in paradise or fight over houris and bounties of paradise. When self would be removed, people will have no liking for the houris, the exotic fruits or anything else. The pain in paradise will be more intense than burning in hell. All the desires and lusts that people have here in this world are only because of the self.
