Divine Theophany

When Prophet Moses requested Allah to bless him with His vision, Allah descended theophany upon him but he could not bear it and fainted as is mentioned in verse 143 of sura al-A'raf. The path to Divine vision was opened for Prophet Mohammad on the night of Miraj and for his umma as well through his medium. They are also given the strength to bear the theophanies of Divine vision.

It is the Divine principle that Allah does not repeat the theophany that He has descended once.

Allah casts theophany of His Essence in the mirror of inward of the Universal Divine Man who is His representative.

Theophany of Divine light manifests in human existence by the invocation and contemplation of Ism-e-Allah Zaat as well as by concentration.

Theophany is a kind of efficacy that influences the inward strongly. Some worldly things also have a strong influence on the inward. Their efficacy is called the exoteric theophany which is of two types: satanic theophany and sensual theophany. Worldly wealth has satanic theophany and lust for women is the sensual theophany.
