Fate and Effort

Man has no control over his fate except that he endeavours to seek Allah and finds Him. Sustenance, children, health, age and everything else has already been destined and cannot be changed. Effort or struggle cannot increase them. The only blessing that can be enhanced through effort is proximity to Allah.

Quranic Verse

وَ اَنۡ لَّیۡسَ لِلۡاِنۡسَانِ اِلَّا مَا سَعٰی (53:39) Meaning: There is nothing for man except that for which he strives. (53:39)

Divine Control

The upbringing of children is in Allah's control not in parents. Satan can mislead the children even after the best guidance and training by parents. Although, if a person leaves everything to Allah and diverts his attention solely towards Him then He takes care of all his responsibilities better than him.

Divine Decree

Allah has already decreed the fate regarding the outward course of your life, yet the decision to tread the path of righteousness with perseverance is left to you. You have to choose between the path of truth and the world. Had Allah predetermined this choice as well then there was no need for accountability in the hereafter.

Satanic Deed

Raising objections on the destiny is a satanic deed.

Changing Fate

In Sufism, changing the fate means turning an evil person into good and converting the seeker of the world into the seeker of Allah which is only possible by the powerful glance of the perfect spiritual guide.

"Therefore, improving fate is possible only if a person hands over the matters of his sustenance, health, children, relations and all other problems to Allah and directs his full attention towards Him."

تقدیر اور کوشش

تقدیر میں سے انسان کے ہاتھ میں سوائے اس کے کچھ نہیں کہ وہ اللہ تک پہنچنے کی تگ و دو کرے اور اس کو پالے۔ رزق، اولاد، صحت، عمر سب لکھے جاچکے، ان میں تبدیلی ممکن نہیں۔ نہ ہی کوشش اور جدوجہد سے ان کو بڑھایا جاسکتا ہے۔ صرف اللہ کا قرب ایسی نعمت ہے جس کے لیے جتنی کوشش کی جائے اتنا بڑھتا ہے۔ اسی کے متعلق فرمایا گیا ہے ’’انسان کے لیے وہی کچھ ہے جس کی وہ کوشش کرے۔‘‘

قرآنی آیت

وَ اَنۡ لَّیۡسَ لِلۡاِنۡسَانِ اِلَّا مَا سَعٰی (53:39) انسان کے لیے وہی کچھ ہے جس کی وہ کوشش کرے۔ (53:39)

اللہ کا کنٹرول

اولاد کی تربیت بھی انسان کے نہیں اللہ کے ہاتھ میں ہے۔ انسان بہترین تربیت کرے پھر بھی شیطان اولاد کو بھٹکا سکتا ہے۔ہاں اگر انسان اپنا ہر کام اللہ کے حوالے کر کے اللہ کی طرف متوجہ ہو جائے تو اللہ اس کی تمام ذمہ داریوں کو اپنے ذمہ لے لیتا ہے اور انسان سے بہتر طور پر انہیں سنبھالتا ہے۔

تقدیر الہی

اللہ تعالیٰ نے آپ کی ظاہری زندگی کی تقدیر تو لکھی لیکن یہ اختیار آپ پرچھوڑاہے کہ آپ نے راہِ حق کو چن کر اس پر استقامت سے چلنا ہے یا نہیں۔ یہ فیصلہ آپ نے کرنا ہے کہ دو راستوں میں سے کون سا راستہ اختیار کرنا ہے، راہِ حق یا دنیا؟ کیونکہ اگر اللہ یہ بھی پہلے سے ہی لکھ دیتا تو آخرت میں حساب کتاب کی ضرورت ہی نہ رہتی۔

شیطانی عمل

تقدیر پر اعتراض شیطان کا کام ہے۔

تقدیر بدلنا

تصوف میں تقدیر بدل دینے سے مراد بدبخت آدمی کو نیک بخت اور طالب ِدنیا کو طالب ِ مولیٰ بنا دینا ہے جو صرف نگاہِ مرشد سے ممکن ہے۔

"لہٰذا رزق، صحت ، اولاد،رشتے داریوں اور دیگر تمام مسائل کو اللہ کے سپرد کر کے خود مکمل طور پر اللہ کی طرف متوجہ ہوجانا ہی تقدیر کو سنوار لینا ہے۔"
