MISTRUST

One of the reasons for mistrust is being unnecessarily emotional or sensitive. Due to mistrust a person makes such conjectures and false assumptions about his friends and well-wishers that have nothing to do with reality.

Mistrust transforms friendship into enmity, love into hatred and liking into malice. At times, an individual may possess an inherent tendency toward mistrust.

Initially, he starts speculating simple words and trivial deeds of those whom he loves or hates extremely. Gradually, this habit becomes firm making the person mentally sick.

Mistrust has extremely adverse and fatal effects on society. Mistrust can turn peaceful ambiance into a hell.

The person who creates mistrust among two individuals is friend of none of them nor does he reveal his true intentions upon both.

Satan specifically creates mistrust against the perfect spiritual guide.

Mistrust is such a sin that often goes unidentified, the person afflicted with it neither considers it a sin nor repents from it.

When the inward is purified from such sins, only then a person can truly become a friend of Allah, which is the sole purpose of the purgation of self.
