In the Sarwari Qadri order when the seeker annihilates himself in Hoo (ھُو) and there remains nothing in his esoteric and exoteric being except Hoo then he reaches the status of Hama Aust dr maghz o poast meaning "Only the Divine Essence is manifested in the physical and spiritual being." This represents the status of Fakir who is the master of universe (the Universal Divine Man) and the perfect spiritual guide possessing the light of Divine guidance.
Essence of Ism-e-Allah Zaat
The perfect spiritual guide is the essence and reality of Ism-e-Allah Zaat.
Intermediator
The perfect spiritual guide is the intermediator between seeker and Allah Almighty. The perfect spiritual guide must lead the seeker towards Allah's proximity. Searching for such a spiritual guide and then attaining the reality of life through him is a fundamental obligation, as this makes a person cognizant of his status in the hereafter.
Futile Efforts
Efforts to reach Allah without a perfect spiritual guide are futile.
Quranic Knowledge
The true teachings and knowledge of the Holy Quran cannot be fully grasped without the guidance of perfect spiritual guide. It is the spiritual guide who, according to the capabilities of the seeker, guides him towards Divine proximity shielding from the snares of Satan and deceptions of the self. Common people are not even aware of this knowledge, how can they have command upon it!
Love for Guide
Only those achieve success in Faqr who cultivate a deep love for the spiritual guide and remain restless for his vision and companionship.
Recognition
Every seeker or disciple does not have the ability to recognize the perfect spiritual guide who is annihilated in Allah, immortal with Him and possesses the light of guidance. This is because every seeker or disciple does not truly seek Allah. Many are the seekers of the world or the hereafter.
Purification
The primary duty of a perfect spiritual guide is to purify the self of a seeker.
Path Opener
The spiritual guide not only opens the path of Divine proximity for disciples but also makes it easy, for he is the guide, leader and mentor of this path. Only those can recognize the reality of spiritual guide who have set out on the journey with pure intention to seek Allah.
Beyond Intellect
Common people cannot recognize him, firstly because they are not pure in their desire for Allah, secondly because outwardly he appears to be an ordinary human like them. It is impossible for the seekers of world and hereafter to recognize his reality with their limited intellect since he apparently lives like common people.
Essential Guidance
In the path of Faqr, the guidance of perfect spiritual guide is essential. However, the seeker should be cautious of the imposter guides. Those who embark on this journey with a sincere desire to seek Allah are shielded and protected from such imposters, for the One being sought becomes their guardian and protector.

مرشد ِ کامل
سلسلہ سروری قادری میں جب طالب ھُو میں فنا ہو کر فنا فی ھُو ہو جاتا ہے اور اس کے ظاہر و باطن میں ھُو کے سوا کچھ نہیں رہتا تو یہ ہے مرتبہ ’ہمہ اوست در مغزو پوست‘ اور یہی ہے فقیر مالک الملکی (انسانِ کامل) اور یہی ہے مرشد کامل اکمل نور الہدیٰ۔
اسمِ ذات کی حقیقت
مرشد کامل اکمل اسم الله ذات کی صورت ہوتا ہے۔
واسطہ
مرشد ِکامل اللہ اور بندے کے درمیان وسیلہ ہے۔ مرشد ِکامل کا یہ فرض ہے کہ طالب یا سالک کو اللہ تعالیٰ کے قرب میں لے جائے۔ ایسا مرشد ِکامل تلاش کرنا پھر اس سے زندگی کی حقیقت حاصل کرنا فرضِ عین ہے تاکہ انسان اس دنیا میں ہی اس بات سے آگاہ ہو جائے کہ آخرت میں اس کا کیا مقام ہے۔
بے کار کوشش
مرشد ِ کامل کے بغیر اللہ تعالیٰ تک پہنچنے کی کوشش کرنا بے کار و بے سود ہے۔
قرآنی علم
کتاب وحکمت کی تعلیم مرشد ِکامل اکمل کے بغیر ممکن نہیں ہے۔مرشد ہی طالب کو اس کی استطاعت کے مطابق شیطان اور نفس کی چالبازیوں سے بچاتا ہوا دارالامن (قربِ الٰہی) میں لے جاتا ہے۔ عام لوگوں کو تو اس علم کے نا م سے بھی واقفیت نہیں چہ جائیکہ اِن کوا س پر دسترس حاصل ہو۔
مرشد سے محبت
فقر میں صرف وہی کامیاب ہوتے ہیں جو اپنے مرشد سے سچا عشق کرتے ہیں اور اس کے دیدار و صحبت کے لیے بیقرار رہتے ہیں
پہچان
فنا فی اللہ بقا باللہ مرشد ِکامل اکمل نور الہدیٰ کی پہچان ہر انسان یا مرید کے بس کی بات نہیں کیونکہ ہر مرید طالب ِمولیٰ نہیں ہوتا بلکہ اکثر مرید دنیا و عقبیٰ کے طالب ہوتے ہیں۔
تزکیہ نفس
مرشد کا اصل کام مرید کا تزکیہ ٔنفس کرنا ہے۔
رہبری
مرشد اللہ تعالیٰ کے قرب تک جانے والے راستہ کو مرید پر نہ صرف کھول دیتا ہے بلکہ آسان کر دیتا ہے کیونکہ وہ اس راستہ کا ہادی، راہبر اور راہنما ہے ۔اس کو وہی پہچانتا ہے جو ’طلب ِ مولیٰ‘ لے کر نکلا ہو۔
عقل سے بالاتر
عام لوگ ایک تو اپنی ناقص طلب کی وجہ سے کامل مرشد کی حقیقت نہیں پہچان پاتے دوسرے وہ انہی کی طرح ایک انسان ہوتا ہے۔ اس کا چلنا پھرنا، اٹھنا بیٹھنا بھی عام انسانوں کی طرح ہوتا ہے، کھاتا پیتا بھی وہ عام انسانوں کی طرح ہی ہے اس لیے طالبانِ دنیا و عقبیٰ کے لیے اس کی معرفت حاصل کرنا ناممکن ہے کیونکہ وہ اپنی ناقص عقل کے مطابق اس کی حقیقت کو سمجھنے کی کوشش کرتے ہیں۔
"مرشد وہ چراغ ہے جس کی روشنی میں طالب ِ مولیٰ دنیا و عقبیٰ کے ظلمات میں ہچکولے کھاتی اور ڈگمگاتی ہوئی اپنی کشتی ٔحیات کو بحفاظت منزلِ مقصود تک لے جانے کے قابل ہوجاتا ہے"
