Presence of Inward

The presence of inward (huzoor-e-qalb) means disengaging of the inward from the creation and bonding with Allah. It is also called the station of Divine unification.

No worship is accepted without the presence of inward in the Divine court, rather it is considered pretentious.

The presence of inward means to observe the Divinity with inner eye.

Presence of inward is achieved by perpetual invocation and contemplation of Ism-e-Allah Zaat. The soul cannot be vivified until the inciting self is dead. Once the soul is vivified then the presence of inward is achieved. The source of enlivening the soul and killing the inciting self is the invocation and contemplation of Ism-e-Allah Zaat.

By the invocation and contemplation of Ism-e-Allah Zaat, a time comes when the inward of seeker gains eternal presence of inward and then he experiences the state: "Wherever you turn, you will observe the Divine countenance." (2:115)
