RENUNCIATION OF WORLD
The broken heart that makes space for the Divine
Meaning of Renunciation
According to the philosophy of Sufism, renunciation of world means renunciation of the lust of worldly pleasures and being indifferent to the world inwardly.
True Renunciation
Renunciation of the world does not mean abandoning the world, rather it means relinquishing the greed associated with it. It is to defeat the inner desires and exterminate the love of the world from one's inward.
True Divine Lover
The true Divine lover is the one who fights worldly desires while living in the world. Those who follow asceticism are in fact cowards who leave the world and run away.
Living in the World
A person should live in this world but the world should not live inside him. Excellence is when a person physically resides in the world but internally feels detached from it.
Prophet's Choice
When the Holy Prophet was given a choice between the world and the hereafter, he preferred the hereafter. He said, "If I order, Mount Uhud would turn into gold but I do not desire the riches of the world."
True Bravery
Bravery is when a person lives in the world with his wealth, children, relatives, assets etc. but does not cherish their love. It is not bravery that a person leaves the world and goes to the jungle.
Worldly Love vs Divine Love
As the love of world increases, the love of hereafter ends and as the love of hereafter increases, the love of Allah ends. One who leaves everything of both the worlds for the sake of Allah, Allah bestows everything of both the worlds to him.
Wealth vs Love of Wealth
Having worldly riches and wealth is not bad, but having their love is the root cause of all evils. When man has to ask from Allah, he seeks the best for himself but when he has to give in the way of Allah, he gives the minimum.
Divine Love
As long as worldliness, worldly appetites, desires and lust exist in the inward, the love of Allah will never enter. He who claims to possess the worldliness and the Divine love together in his inward is an absolute liar.
Path to Success
Real and eternal success lies in ejecting the worldly love from the inward and instead cherishing the Divine love. This is possible only through the contemplation and invocation of Ism-e-Allah Zaat, provided it is received from the perfect spiritual guide.
Divine Reward
Those who renounce the love of world for the sake of Allah, Allah will bless them with all comforts and luxuries in this world and hereafter. Living in this world physically but detaching from it inwardly is the greatest trial.
"Renunciation of world means inner detachment from everything except Allah. That is to love only Allah, fear only Allah, trust only Allah and seek only Allah instead of the immortal world and its relations or pleasures."

ترک دنیا کا مفہوم
صوفیا کرام کے فلسفہ کے مطابق ترک دنیا سے مراد ترکِ ہوسِ دنیا ہے یعنی دنیا سے باطنی لاتعلقی کا نام ترکِ دنیا ہے۔
حقیقی ترک
ترکِ دنیا سے مراد دنیا کو چھوڑنا نہیں بلکہ اپنے باطن میں دنیا اور اس کی خواہشوں کو شکست دینا ہے یعنی دل سے دنیا کی محبت نکال دی جائے کیونکہ جب تک دل سے دنیا کی ہوس اور محبت نہیں نکلے گی اللہ کی محبت نہیں آئے گی۔
حقیقی عاشق
عاشق وہ ہے جو دنیا میں رہتے ہوئے دنیا کی خواہشوں کے خلاف جہاد کرے۔جو زہد اختیار کرنے کی خاطر دنیا چھوڑ کر بھاگ جاتے ہیں وہ درحقیقت بزدل ہوتے ہیں۔
دنیا میں رہنا
انسان دنیا میں ایسے رہے کہ دنیا اس میں نہ رہے۔کمال یہ ہے کہ انسان جسمانی طور پر دنیا میں رہے اور باطنی طور پر اس سے بیزار ہو۔
نبی کریم کا انتخاب
نبی کریم صلی اﷲ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو اﷲ پاک نے یہ اختیار دیا کہ وہ دنیا اور آخرت میںسے جسے چاہیںپسند کر لیں لیکن آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے آخرت کو ترجیح دی۔ حضور اکرم صلی اﷲ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کا ارشادِ مبارک ہے ”اگر میں توجہ کروں تو احد پہاڑ بھی سونا بن جائے لیکن ہمیں دنیا منظور نہیں۔“
حقیقی بہادری
بہادری یہ ہے کہ انسان دنیا میں اپنے مال، اولاد، رشتہ داروں،زمین جائیداد وغیرہ کے ساتھ رہے مگر اس کے دل میں ان کی محبت نہ ہو۔ یہ تو کوئی بہادری نہ ہوئی کہ انسان دنیا چھوڑ کر جنگل میں نکل جائے۔
دنیا کی محبت
دنیا کی محبت بڑھنے سے آخرت کی محبت ختم ہو جاتی ہے اور آخرت کی محبت بڑھنے سے اللہ کی محبت ختم ہو جاتی ہے۔ جو دونوں جہانوں کو چھوڑ کر اللہ کی طرف آتا ہے اللہ اسی کو دونوں جہان عطا کر دیتا ہے۔
دولت کی محبت
دنیا ہونا کوئی برائی نہیں لیکن دنیا کی محبت ہونا تمام برائیوں کی جڑ ہے۔انسان کو جب اللہ سے لینا ہوتا ہے تو لاکھوں کروڑوں کی دعا مانگتا ہے اور جب اللہ کی راہ میں دینا ہوتا ہے تو جیب میں سب سے چھوٹا سکہ ڈھونڈتا ہے۔
محبت الہی
جب تک دل کے اندر دنیا، لذ ّاتِ دنیا، خواہشاتِ دنیا اور شہوات ِ دنیا موجود رہتی ہیں اس وقت تک دل کے اندر اللہ پاک کی محبت نہیں آ سکتی۔ جو دنیا اور اللہ پاک کی محبت کو دل کے اندر اکٹھا جمع کرنے کا دعویٰ کرتا ہے وہ کاذب ہے۔
کامیابی کا راستہ
دنیا اور غیر اللہ کی محبت کو دِل سے نکال کر دِل میں اللہ تعالیٰ کی محبت اور عشق کو بسالینا ہی کامیابی ہے اور یہ ذکر اور تصورِ اسم j ذات کے بغیر ناممکن ہے۔
اللہ کی نعمتیں
جو اللہ کی خاطر دل سے دنیا کی محبت نکال دیتا ہے اللہ اسے دنیااور آخرت دونوں کی نعمتوں سے نواز دیتا ہے۔دنیا میں رہ کر دل سے دنیا نکالنا سب سے بڑی آزمائش ہے۔
"ترکِ دنیا سے مراد اللہ کے سوا ہر چیز سے لاتعلقی اختیا ر کرنا ہے یعنی محبت صرف اللہ سے، خوف صرف اللہ کا، توکل صرف اللہ پر اور طلب بھی صرف اللہ کی نہ کہ فانی دنیا اور اس کے رشتوں اور لذتوں کی۔"
