Shahada - The Declaration of Faith

Reciting shahada by tongue and affirming it by heart is the basis of acquiring faith whereas verifying it by inward after reaching its core is the base of gnosis of Divine Essence.

There are three levels of shahada. The beginner recites it verbally, the seeker at the middle level verifies it inwardly while the one at the final level annihilates himself and gains immortality with Allah.

Nothing remains hidden in this world and hereafter from the one who reaches the reality of first part of shahada i.e. negation 'there is no (other) God (لَآ اِلٰہَ)'. The person who finds the crux and reality of negation, all the stations of affirmation 'only Allah (اِلَّا اللّٰہ)' are disclosed upon him and he becomes the spiritual confidant of Prophet Mohammad, the Messenger of Allah (مُحَمَّدٌ رَّسُوْلُ اللّٰہِ).

The Ism-e-Azam، مُحَمَّدْ اَللّٰہُ، لِلّٰہ، لَہٗ، ھُوْ are hidden in shahada.

Perfect spiritual guide is the one who acquaints the seeker with all the secrets of Oneness of Allah and Prophethood hidden in shahada.

Merely reciting shahada by tongue has no significance, the actual destination is to achieve inward verification.

Be very clear that worldly people recite shahada only by the tongue whereas believers recite shahada with their inwards and testify it, but the lovers reach the core and reality of shahada and observe it in every creation.

The verbal recitation and then inward verification of shahada removes everything other than Allah from the inward and eradicate polytheism. Only then the truth of Oneness is attained.
