Among the wives of the Prophet, Khadijah bint Khuwaylid holds the highest position in terms of her contributions to the propagation of Islam, her unwavering companionship and her role as a consoler for the Holy Prophet. She was the first lady on earth to embrace the Prophethood of Mohammad and was among the vanguard supporters of the Prophet.

The first fortunate person on the face of the earth to behold the Holy Prophet's countenance immediately after he was blessed with Prophethood was the mother of the believers, Khadija bint Khuwaylid. She was his steadfast companion, comforter and confidant.

It is sufficient to prove the greatness of Khadija bint Khuwaylid that she endorsed the Holy Prophet while others disapproved and rejected him. Allah blessed the Prophet with children through her.

Khadijah bint Khuwaylid was the true lover of Prophet Mohammad and sacrificed everything for him. Before embracing Islam, she had hundreds of camels that carried her trading goods but when she died there was not even enough cloth for her shroud.

There are only two personalities in Islam who sacrificed everything they possessed for the religion, Khadijah bint Khuwaylid and Abu Bakr Siddiq.

Aisha bint Abi Bakr became the custodian of the Holy Prophet's heritage of knowledge and spread it for more than half a century. One-third of Islamic jurisprudence is based on the Hadiths narrated by her.

Umm Salama stands out among the wives of the Prophet for her remarkable knowledge and scholarly acumen.
